How to request deletion
You have two equivalent options. Both initiate the same deletion process and produce the same result.
- ¶ 01Option A — In-app. If you still have access to the EveryWon app, open Profile → Delete my account → Confirm deletion request. Your sign-in session is required because we verify the request against your authenticated identity.
- ¶ 02Option B — By email. Send an email to west.eastforte@gmail.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request.” Please include: the email address registered on the account, the full name or display nickname used in the app, and optionally the reason for deletion.
We will reply to the registered email address to verify the request before any data is removed. This verification step is required to prevent unauthorised deletion.
What will be deleted
When your request is processed, the following data tied to your account is removed from our active systems:
- ¶ 01Account profile. Display name, avatar, language preference, and saved app settings.
- ¶ 02Email and login. Email address, authentication credentials, and any linked sign-in providers.
- ¶ 03Community posts and comments. Anonymised or deleted, in line with the visibility settings of each post.
- ¶ 04Chat history. Direct messages exchanged through your account.
- ¶ 05Appointment request records, where deletion is legally permitted (see retention notes below).
- ¶ 06Notification settings and push tokens registered to the account.
Data that may be retained
Some categories of data may be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or regulatory reasons. This is consistent with the Korean Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and the Medical Service Act.
- ¶ 01Transaction or payment records, where applicable, retained per applicable tax law.
- ¶ 02Abuse and security incident logs, retained to protect the safety of other members and the Service.
- ¶ 03Legal compliance records required by regulators or by court order.
- ¶ 04Clinic appointment records co-owned with clinics where the Medical Service Act requires retention (up to 10 years).
Processing time and retention period
- ¶ 01Account deletion is processed and completed within 30 days of a verified request. You will receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete.
- ¶ 02Records subject to a legal retention obligation are kept for the legally required period and then deleted.
- ¶ 03Once deleted, sign-in is no longer possible and your community posts, messages, and saved preferences cannot be recovered.
